This candied bacon also makes a very interesting and delicious appetizer

Carne Apache
It is hard to describe this
recipe, as it is a little like Mexican-style steak tartare because of the raw
beef, but also like ceviche because the raw beef is cooked by the acids of the
lime juice. I was apprehensive at eating this dish at first, but it is
absolutely delicious! I really like this recipe for Carne Apache. When Marisela
shared it with us, I wanted to eat the whole dish of it.

addictive!
Country Pate with Prunes and Hazelnuts
Everyone should have a pate in their cooking repertoire. this mild
version is inspired by a Julia Child recipe, but we replaced the
liver with ground veal and the onions with shallots, then added the
layers of prunes and hazelnuts. Serve with crackers or toasts made
from skinny baguettes.
Crock Pot Chicken Wings in Honey Sauce
Chicken wings can be time
consuming to make. This is where the handy crock pot comes in! Serve these
delicious chicken wings to your guests right from the slow cooker, where they'll
stay hot and tasty throughout your party.
Grilled Hot Chile Wings
Be prepared - these spicy hot chicken wings are not for the "faint
of heart," as they are very hot.

Sweet and Spicy Mini Meatballs
This recipe is a mix of two southern styles of cooking that can
actually be very similar in many ways - Cajun and Southwestern.
It is easy enough to make for a entrée and can be used as a simple
appetizer. Serve the mini meatballs with serving picks as an appetizer.
