Homemade Cinnamon Rolls

Harvest Cinnamon Rolls - These are absolutely wonderful cinnamon rolls. They are very rich and delicious! Be prepared. as everyone you serve these rolls will want this recipe. The best part about making this recipe is that the dough can be mixed and the rolls filled, shaped, and frozen the night before I need to bake them. I take them out of the freezer to thaw and rise. When I awake in the morning, I just bake. So easy to make and so rewarding!

Fondant Icing - Marshmallow Fondant Recipe
Marshmallow Fondant Recipe and Photo Tutorial

White Dome Cake with Marshmallow Fondant IcingTo many folks, even the pros, covering a cake in fondant icing is scary and avoided at all costs. It has a beautiful satin like finish that is desired by many Brides, but it is extremely difficult to make the traditional fondant icing. The worst thing about this problematic and expensive cake icing is the fondant icing doesn’t taste good and is usually peeled off the slice of cake, like an orange rind, and left on the plate.

So………you have got to ask "Why bother."

Well, this Marshmallow Fondant recipe that I’m sharing with you is easy-to-make, very delicious, and great to work with - plus beautiful on the cake .......... That’s why you should bother

You will amaze the bride, guests, and family with your skills in the kitchen. This recipe uses a commercial product as the base, so that is why it is a dream to make compared to the traditional recipe.

Mother's Day Triangle CakeMother's Day Cake

Check out Peggy Weaver's Baking Corner and her wonderful Mother's Day Triangle Cake Tutorial

Peggy says, "My train of thought is that it is likely a young person will be making a dessert for Mom on Mother’s Day. Time is usually in short supply and young folks are just learning their way around the kitchen. So, this is my very simple version of a Triangle Cake.  If you want to, you can make your own pound cake and chocolate icing. You can also vary the cake by applying with a pastry brush, a very thin layer of warmed seedless raspberry jam to each layer of the cake before spreading the icing on the layer."
