Question:

I have a problem!!  My friend wanted me to make him oatmeal raisin cookies. He said he liked them gooey.  I made them, they are good, but they are like a regular cookie (semi hard).  How do I make them where they stay gooey or in other words soft?  Really for any cookie how would you do that? - Renee DeVeau (12/19/00)

Answers:

It's so simple that you will laugh. Just undercook the cookies. You may have to experiment with a few to get the softness you want.
