Question:

What is the best way to freeze fresh fish?   We have several fresh Whitefish fillets from Lake Superior and I want to freeze some of it.

Answer:

I've found the best way to freeze fish is to use a vacuum sealer. They are really great as their remove all the air from the package. This keeps the fish from getting freezer burn.

Feedback:

Thank you so much for the freezing tip. I have a vacuum sealer at my house but I am at our cabin!!!  I did find out I could also freeze them in zip lock bags too, which I did. They won't be in that freezer for long.  I'll have to bring my vacuum sealer out for the next "catch".  Thank you for writing me back so quickly.  Appreciate it.
