Question:

Is it true that I have to refrigerate grapeseed oil after I open it? Thank you  - Ashley (4/20/02)

Answers:

Grapeseed oil will stay fresh without refrigeration because of the oil's naturally high level of vitamin E. However, if refrigerated, it does not cloud like other oils.  Like other oils, oil should be stored in a cool dark place until it is used

I, personally, would refrigerate this oil to keep it from going rancid if not used all the time. I refrigerate all my specialty oils, like walnut, hazelnut, and truffle oils. If you don't refrigerate, store in a cool place away from your stove and oven.
