Question:
I have two turkeys, approximately 12 pounds each that were purchased a year ago. Are these still okay to use for Christmas this year? do you have general tips on how long to keep foods in a freezer?

Answer:
Yes, a whole frozen turkey can be stored in your home freezer for up to on year without appreciable loss of quality. Longer storage is not dangerous, but flavors and textures deteriorate.
