Because my husband enjoyed his steak, I gave them 3 stars.  My veal schnitzel was a 2 star. I, personally, do not recommend this restaurant.

This restaurant is located in the charming Bavarian town of Leavenworth, WA.  Leavenworth's main streets reflects its modeling after a Bavarian village. Nestled in a beautiful valley surrounded by mountain peaks that rise more than 8,000 feet, Leavenworth is a scenic drive of just 118 miles from Seattle, WA. The town is beautiful and a tourist's delight!

The restaurant is located upstairs on Front Street. The atmosphere and decor of the restaurant was nice and appealing but most of the food was terrible! I debated about even writing this review as I hate to say bad things about a restaurant.  I want a restaurant to be good!

SALAD:

All dinners are served with a Bavarian Salad Sampler with a variety of cucumber, carrot, cabbage, German potato, and green salads. All the salad samples were very vinegary.

ENTREES:

Veal Schnitzel
- Fresh, lightly breaded cutlet, pan sauteed. $20.00

Looks good, doesn't it? Well it was terrible! The breading, on both sides of the veal, were thicker than the meat. It was overcooked. I couldn't finish eating it! Check out the below photo:

Black Angus Rib Eye Steak (12 ounce) - Topped with choice of artichoke bottoms with béarnaise sauce, crispy-golden fried onions or our own herb and truffle butter, served with French pastry potatoes. $25.00

My husband, the steak and potato man, said the steak was good. He is a good judge of steaks as it is his specialty.
