This is not a fine dining restaurant, but it is good eating! In fact, the seafood is very fresh and well prepared. The oysters used in the dishes are fresh caught from the Hood Canal. Local oyster hunters bring in their day's catch for the cook. We accidentally stumbled onto this small restaurant while touring the area. Their sign says, "Welcome bikers and boaters!" You do not go away hungry or dissatisfied from this restaurant. Don't miss this restaurant when traveling in the Hood Canal area of Washington state. They serve the best oyster dishes that you can imagine. They even serve Hangtown Fry for breakfast. I definitely have to go back and try this dish. Other great dishes are their fresh hood canal oysters on the half shell, oyster shooters, and fresh hood canal clams and shrimp. Their hamburgers also looked great! They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner - so there is something for everyone!
Oyster Stew - Fresh Hama Hama Oyster Stew with homemade garlic bread. This is truly a meal in itself! $8.50 This Oyster Stew was fantastic! I though that I had died and gone to heaven with this Oyster Stew. It was the best, outside of my own recipe, that I had ever tasted. I really mean that statement. This is a must have!
Oyster Basket - Fresh Hama Hama Oysters, made to order, battered and deep fried. $9.95 My husband, an oyster lover, ordered this Oyster Basket. He had a smile on his face the whole time he was eating them. His comment was, "Any better and I couldn't stand it!"
