Cuisine: American fine dining cuisine specializing in steak and seafood. The restaurant calls it "New American Cuisine." The restaurant also serves Sunday Brunch.

Location:  Southwest suburb of Portland in Beaverton. Located on the grounds of the Red Tail Golf Course.

My husband and I have dined at the Stockpot Restaurant many times. It is a very comfortable feeling restaurant with a traditional country club setting.  The food is always good and the service is attentive and friendly. This seems to be a restaurant which has a regular following of patrons, especially the baby boomer generation. We will going back many more times in the future.  It is a great place for a romantic and quiet dinner, and to have a leisurely meal. It makes for a fabulous night out!

My only complaints are that I wish they would change their menu every so often, and one of my pet peeves is that they don't always serve the wine in the proper wine glasses. Since my husband and I have tried most of the entrees on the menu, I've decided to give you the full dinner menu below:

 

Apple Salad  - Field Greens, Candied Walnuts & Sundried Cranberries - Ricotta Salata Cheese & Champagne Dressing. $6.50

 

 

 

 

Grilled Peach & Rocket Salad - Fire grilled local peaches with cobb smoked ham, radishes, honey dijon vinaigrette & tellicherry pepper. $9.00

 

 

Lemongrass Grilled Prawns - Lemongrass crusted and seared over fire, sweet sticky rice with watercress and pea shoot salad, Thai coconut milk and lime leaf infused broth. $23

 

Alaskan Halibut - white almond dusted Sitka Alaska halibut with herb ricotta gnocchi, creamed spinach, sauteed local chanterelle mushrooms and a sage brown butter sauce. $28.00

 

 

Tuscan Beef Tenderloin - Fresh Herb Marinade, Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes and veal glace. $25

Cuneo Red Wine Barrel Roasted Salmon - Sweet pea risotto crepes, carrot and caardamon jus infused with Madagascar vanilla bean, wilted fresh pea shoots. $22

 

Sesame Seared Pacific Ahi - Served rare with wasabi mashed potatoes, assorted Asian vegetables, fresh ginger and Thai basil infused beurre blanc. $24

 

 

Stuffed Pan Roasted Chicken - Ricotta cheese and Moroccan preserved lemon, ragu of San Marzano tomatoes, fresh rapini and fava beans, gnocchi alla Romana. $18

Northwest Bouillabaisse - Crab, prawns, clams, mussels and Alaskan halibut in a saffron tomato broth. $23

Seared Jumbo Sea Scallops - Pan-seared in extra virgin olive oil, creamy Oregon Dungeness crab polenta, Spanish chorizo and a fresh lemon-chive sauce. $23

Crab Stuffed Alaskan Halibut - Layered with crab, Sonoma Jack and plum tomatoes, sauce hollandaise. $23

Twin Lamb Shanks - Braised with sherry wine, whole grain mustard and fresh mint, buttermilk mashed potatoes. $19

 

Rack of Lamb - Crushed with Parisian mustard and hazelnuts, Dauphinoise potatoes, sun-dried fig and roasted garlic port glace. $26
