In a frying pan, oven, or in your microwave, fry bacon until crisp. If frying, place the cooked bacon on paper towels to drain off any excess fat.
This is the way to get perfect crisp bacon without having to constantly turn it, watch over it, or get burnt by splatters of grease. Cooking bacon can be a real challenge as frying bacon is a mess and microwaving has inconsistent results. Baked bacon does not curl – you get nice straight bacon pieces every time.
This oven technique will solve all your bacon problems and is also especially great when serving a large crowd. This is the way I now cook bacon.
Toast the bread until light golden brown.
Spread mayonnaise over 1 slice of bread; top with lettuce leaves, bacon slices, and tomato slices. Top with remaining slice of bread.
Cut the sandwich in half and serve. Enjoy!
