Roast Beef Roll-Ups is a very simple and easy appetizer to put together at the last minute or as a make-ahead appetizer. Very attractive looking spiral appetizer with a little zest.
Bite-size pieces look so pretty set on a platter in a circle. The arrangement never stays complete for very long. Made these for a party and they disappeared pretty fast as these Roast Beef Roll-Ups are always a favorite of men – they gobble them up!
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, room temperature
- 2 to 3 tablespoons horseradish, prepared
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon dill seed
- 12 (1/4-inch thin slices) deli roast beef
-
In a bowl, beat cream cheese until softened. Add horseradish, mustard, and dill seed; beat until smooth.
-
Arrange roast beef slices on a work surface. Gently spread cream cheese mixture over the top of each beef slice. Roll each prepared roast beef slice into a long roll (roll up tightly as possible).
-
Wrap each roll with plastic wrap and refrigerate for approximately 1 to 2 hours before serving.
-
To serve, cut rolls into 1-inch slices and arrange, cut side up, on platter.
