Question:
I have a recipe that I found on a South African website that calls for "1 punnet baby corn, 1 bunch of spring onions, and 1 punnet fresh bean sprouts" I am guessing that "punnet" refers to some kind of measure, but does it mean package, bunch, or ?? I have found other references to growing herbs in a punnet; but the reference did not say how many inches or cm. around a punnet was. Any ideas? Thank you.) - Carol Bishop (4/6/02)
