Honey Mustard Salad Dressing is my husband’s favorite, when I make it homemade for him he is one happy camper. It is an easy-to-make dressing and so good! This version is a low-fat recipe as no mayonnaise or oil is used. Honey Mustard Salad Dressing can also be used as a dip or as a baking sauce, I love to use it on baked pork chops. After you get in the habit of making homemade dressings you will never purchased bottled dressing again!

- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar (good quality)
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar, either seasoned or regular*
- 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon honey
- 2 teaspoons Dijon-style mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
-
In a small jar with a lid, combine balsamic vinegar, rice vinegar, honey, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper; cover securely and shake vigorously.
-
Store, covered, in the refrigerator.
-
Serve at room temperature.
* I like using rice vinegar because of its mild acidity and hint of sweetness. Rice vinegar does not fight the delicious taste of balsamic vinegar as it has a mild vinegar flavor that brings out the flavor of everything you use it with.
